Dave-
          An electric heat gun(hair dryer) can soften the vinyl
and the adhesive making a clean removal of the graphic any left over glue
can be cleaned off with "sticker shock "
this is available from most auto parts stores, this won't harm the paint or
leave a residual shadow on the finish.
