I have an Autometer in mine, and it does this as well. After the O2 sensor
has heated up (1-2 minutes), you should see the gauge start to function
normally.

I hooked up my a/f gauge today with the vilot wire to the orange and tan
coming off the last pcm plug.
When I start the truck the last light on the gauge lights....all the way
to the rich side....I was underv the imptression that the gauge had a
series of lights that sorta resembled a gauge pointer anyone have this
specific autometer gauge?
