  If you have a lack of buddies or just like doing things yourself,
you can also do it with a cherry picker. I've seen a device that you
can attach to the cherry picker which fits inside your bed and
lifts it off, but I'm sure something similar can be fabbed up
in a few minutes out of angle iron if you have a welder, or
even 2x4s if you don't. You'll just need to be sure to lift
at the center of balance.

  I had my Ram's bed off when I did the suspension lift, and it was
the easiest part of the install. Just a few bolts, unplug the
tail lights, and disconnect the fuel filler hose - comes right off.
