The accell ignition coil included with the 300+ ignition is a
nice kit, but it does have one minor problem, it will flag the check engine
light due to the higher voltage requirement and output than the stock coil,
after installing the kit, the light came on for a day and went out, so I
took the DAK in to the dealer's service dept,(should have seen the look on
his face after he peaked under the hood) it had stored 3 codes one on the
coil , and 2 false codes on the torque converter lock-up circuit. Haven't
had a problem since.
