The 6.1 Hemi should be rated around 385HP. I think Buzz (www.car-truck.com)
had the inside scoop for this info.
Since they are planning to kill the Dak, I had asked Buzz if PVO will
provide some of the 5.7s to the Dakster and according to him, right now it
is the 2500/3500 RAMs in Sept. By Jan 2003 the 1500, and then maybe the
spring time and on there maybe a 5.7 to finish the Dakster with BANG
(SRT-8).
There even a rumor now that PVO is working on a Durango Viper V-10 model.

Just was readin an article in a Mopar Performance mag at the drugstore & it
was talkin about the new 5.7 liter Hemi for 2003. 345 c.i.d. & one horse FOR
EACH CUBE!. I think that's gonna be PERFORMANCE!
The weight will be 100 lbs less than the current 5.9! They also mentioned
the 6.1 liter which they plan on putting into the New Charger, but I didn't
catch the HP...
But at the tail-end of the article there was a statement which read....:
"Wait til somebody throws this Hemi into a "stripper" DAK!"
