depends on the year of your truck, I believe that the 97 and newer models use
sealed front end components and u-joints, the u joints can be replaced with
greasable ones. As far as the front end components, they are designed to just
be removed and replaced with new ones, however you can save alot of $$$$ if
you buy a needle tip for your grease gun. This is sorta like the needle you
use to fill a basketball with air but its bigger and fits in the grease gun.
You then poke it through the casing on the particular component and fill her
up with fresh grease. should be available at any parts store.
