MSD Timing Controller question

I am attempting to hook up an MSD timing controller (no instructions) in my
96 Dakota, and am down to 3 wires. The small red one that is supposed to go
to the original coil wire and the other two go to the distributor, and there
are 3 wires plugged into the distributor that are black white and black, and
I'm not sure which does what. Can anyone tell me where to hook these up?
