Jef,

I used four "hidden" tie-downs mounted to the outside of the bed (right
under the top of the rail) and fastened them down with heat treated
machine screws and nylock nuts. They've been on there since 1997 and
have been used quite often. They're still tight and no problems with
them.

Subject: DML: adding tie-downs

Anyone have any experience with adding additional tie-downs to the walls
of our beds? (I dumped my bedliner.) I cringe at the thought of
drilling through the walls (rust, etc.) and am unsure of the best
fasteners to use.

Thanks, Jef
