I am certainly no techy, but I'll give this a try. If I am incorrect, I'm
sure some one on the list will correct my statements....
I believe the sensor measures the incoming air temp and sends this
information to the computer which probably uses it to regulate the
injection system and possibly the timing retard/advance.
