Thanks Bernd!

I figure that it mostly comes down to personal preference, but do you
(or anyone else) have a favorite of the three listed when it comes down
to performance?

Thanks again...

MagnaFlow 2.5" IN/OUT (XL Series), Flowmaster #52555 (2.5" IN/OUT),
Dynomax Super Turbo (2.5" IN/OUT). Out of those three, the Flowmaster
is still the loudest.

Hey guys,

I am in the middle of selling one toy to get others (anyone interested
in some paintball equip?) and need to start getting together some orders
for some parts.

I have a 2001 4.7l QC and will be getting a Flowmaster 50 series (?) in
the next couple weeks. They seem to have a very pleasant tone :) So, a
couple questions:

1. Which 50 series muffler should I be looking for? Is it the SUV or the
plain jane 50? There seems to be a wide range in prices for the 50
series so I wanna make sure I dont make a $50 mistake. That might be the
reason Meineke's quote was so high ($200+ for parts/labor).

2. After looking on Summit's site, I see there are several different
inlet/outlet diameters. Can someone guide me to which one I'll need to
get?

3. Where is the cheapest/most reliable place to get one? Speedtweaks'
site doesnt list any exhaust stuff (under construction).

Basically, I am looking for a high-flow muffler thats not "too loud".
Glass-packs are definitely out of the question, and a cat-back or
headers wont be on the list for a while. My truck isnt used for much
more than the normal speeding around town type of business (no real
racing or off-roading), so I wanna get the best I can afford for what
I'll be using it for. In short, I want some growl and lots o' flow but
not at the cost of annoying the neighbors too much (but a little would
be okay sometimes :) hehe

Thanks in advance for the help! This list is great, btw...
