Nevermind - - I found what I was looking for in my owners manual -
10-w30 is recommended
I did discover also that my coolant was pratically brown. This is a
brand new radiator installed with a rebuilt engine. there was brownish
residue inside the radiator as well. I flushed it out as best I could -
and I bought a bottle of prestone rad flush that I am about to run
through it now... but is it common for new radiators to do this? The
coolant has been in there since the engine was installed last winter.
I an thinking the engine was not being cooled well enough and the oil
was getting too hot - thus thinning out and lowering pressure... that
sound right to anyone?
