Looking at the HEMI design (round combustion chamber) you want a spark
thrown in a downward angle versus the wedge heads, which is across. The
problem I find with these type plugs (Bosch and NGK multi tips) is the
gapping is too wide unless you have altered the timing and fuel maps to
compensate for the large gap.

I have experimented on both the 4.7 and the 1.3 DOHC Suzuki engines, which
has a hemi design combustion chamber. I had to reapply the gapping to meet
the manufacturer spec not Bosch. Another area if using this type of plug,
be careful not to us a hi-output coils with platinum spark plugs. I think
Bernd told that story.
