I don't know if the average person would notice, but since I am a
graphic designer I want to ask about the different versions of the Ram
Logo. The link below is for an image I put together with the 3 different
versions I found. All three originated from official Dodge sources. On
the image I have lettered each of them for reference as A B and C. I
know that on the website and on this years Winston Cup cars they are
using C. Last year the Cup cars used B as well as a lot of the emblems
on car parts use B. My '98 owners manual has B, but the steering wheel
has A.
So I have 3 questions:
Does anybody have any information on the history/chronology of the logo?
(I was thinking about creating a large vinyl for the top of my truck lid
I am getting.)
Is it OK to use which ever one I like?
(I know it's my truck and all but if it's not 'cool' to use logo C on an
older Dakota I'd like to know)
Which one is your personal favorite?
(I thought the 160 emails I received from the list today wasn't enough,
and a poll is always a good way to get people talking) :)
