My mother's '99 LHS had a similar problem when she inserted a CD. It would
clear up eventually, after removing the CD, but first dealer couldn't find
anything wrong. Different dealer tech said he'd seen it before and the
battery was bad. Replaced the battery, problem never reoccurred.
