If you had no problems today so far, that points beyond a fuse problem. You
probably do have either a loose ground or a bare positive lead somewhere.
You should probably go through your FSM and tighten down all your (ground)
connections before it happens again.

Rather than to clutter the list with individual replies, I'll just do it
here.
First, thanks again to everyone for all the ideas.
I drove a good 30 miles today in and out of traffic with NO problems. I
got over to AutoZone for a battery test and, by some miracle, the thing
is still very healthy. However, we discovered....the NEG terminal was
quite loose. I picked up a new one to just outright replace it - heavy
steel with a quick disconnect. I'll check all my fuses this afternoon
as well, as a precaution. I'll give it a few days to see if things stay
clean before I run out and start spending my money again :)
Sorry if I sounded panicked, the truck's been solid since the warranty
ended 14K/10 months ago (knock on wood) and I really did not relish the
idea of dropping a ton of $$$ at the dealer after I just moved last weekend.
