Hey, DML!
Might snagged a newbie for the list today. Susan & I went to our bowling
banquet today & in the parking lot was a 2K FR RC V6 Auto that I hadn't seen
at the lanes during the season. Never saw anybody near it all afternoon.
Well, we're sitting down to eat our clamsteam & a guy comes over with his
wife (she bowls with us) & says, "that your SY?"
"Yep"
"Nice truck."
"Thanx."
"That your FR?"
"Yep. BTW, What is that www.dakota-truck sticker? That some sorta club or
somethin?"
Before I can say anything Susan says, "You never heard of the DML?!?!?! They
get together all the time & talk DAKS & they're a great bunch of guys/gals!
We've hooked up at the Valley & Foxwoods & Syracuse...Bob lives for the
e-mails...He had 185 waiting for him cuz he didn't check his puter since
Thursday nite!"
"They do stuff to make their trucks run & ride & look better & they know
more about Dakotas than the dealers do!"
(Not bad from somebody who drives a Chebby Blazer, huh? I think I'll get her
a DANGO!)
Ennyhoo, I gave him a DML flyer & told him to check us out...hafta see if he
lurks or contributes...
