I want to thank everyone for replying to my wifes post. A friend of mine
told me about this truck so I was kind of curious. I know the miles don't
really matter that much as long as it was taken care of, as a matter of
fact, my '96 has almost caught it, it is at 105K! (And still running strong,
I put the last 13K on in the past 8mos!) It is just with all the driving I
do I was hoping for some lower miles to start out with, then I would know
what it went through. Also the club cab would be a nice addition to haul my
gear around without having to take it in and out of the bed when I get
home( I slipseat, so never the same truck at work). Also the automatic
sounded nice after shifting a semi all day(night) long, but the 5speed is
nice when you want to play! I am just kind of keeping an eye out now for
what comes available, since my 15 yr old son is hoping to confiscate my
truck when he can get his license! I found a 2K Copper SLT CC V6Auto at a
local dealer (19Kmi), but he wants $15,500 for it, a ways out of the budget
right now! I love my GEN II Dak, but I feel the Club Cab looks better in the
GEN III (Don't shoot me fellow Gen II owners;-]) Again thanks for the
replies, but I feel he wants too much for it. He also has a '74 Mercury
Montego MX with 13K original miles for $4500!
