Building this dang v6 has been nothing but trouble..lol First I finally get
all my parts and start putting the bottom end together. Hmm..something
seems loose...when I plastiguage it..cranks real loose. Flip the bearings
over..they are marked .001 ...not .01 like I ordered..doh!! Two weeks later
get the correct bearings, put everything together, check all clearances,
they are excellent. Get to putting in the last piston and rod assembly and
somethings wrong..way too tight on the journal. Turns out rod has a casting
flaw from the factory. Ok no problem, getting a new stock rod. My buddy
sends me a couple stock 318 rods to try. DOH! who would of though Dodge
put a differnt rod in the v6 vs v8. Why dodge why? The bearing surface of
the rod is about 1/8th in longer than the v6 one..thus using bigger
bearings. It does fit on the crank journals though. So now I can either
get 2 more v8 rods from my friend making a set of 6..Then buy a third set of
bearings and swith all the pistons over......or I can find a v6 rod. Please
someone tell me they have a spare v6 rod?

Sorry for the rant,,just fustrated..took me so long to get all the parts and
thought she was allmost done.....
