here in FL is $2500 per cat that's removed... had a friend with a Mustang
GT. he got a $10,000 fine because he had removed all 4 cats. the cops here
in Miami have a list with most cars, and the number of cats that are on
them.

   EXACTLY!!!!! Messin' with a cat or any other smog part is an automatic
$10K fine, unless it has went up. But it is still done. One day they will
start enforcing it again and everyone will be in a real hurt locker!!! Too
much "Big Brother" watching us!;-)
