MSCONFIG is ok, but I find that a little freeware program called
StartupManager works much better (easy to enable/disable specific programs,
as well as determining when a startup program has been loaded with the
install of another program). You can find it here:

http://members.aye.net/cgi-bin/dfs_components.cgi?fw_startupmanager

Also, if you're running something like Win2K or XP that doesn't offer
MSCONFIG, you can get the Startup Control Panel from www.mlin.net which will
do the same thing.
