When I organized the group buy a couple years ago (or close to) the hood
retailed for $400. We had over 10 buyers so they knocked the price down to
$280. Be warned though that this hood is not a direct bolt-on and will
require close to a day's worth of labor to fit it to the fenders and wiper
cowl. Other than that the hood is gel coated, finished on the underside and
very well constructed. Other than the extra work I am very happy with my
hood and it's holding up very well with no warping, waves or anything else.
And yes you can use all your stock hardware, but you'll have to drill a hole
if you want your underhood light.
