I had a '97, 5.2L, Auto
After installing Gibson Shorty Headers, Gibson (single) Cat-Back, Jet Stage
II, K&N Air Filter (also tested with Cone and stock box), MSD 8mm wires,
Autolites and TB
Dyno (at the wheels) results were HP: 205, TQ: 254
FYI: Stock Air box resulted in a 4hp loss from the K&N Cone
The rule of thumb is to add around 25% for drive-train losses. That puts it
at around 256 hp.
You can use this as a comparison.
