I posted this question a few days ago. Does anyone know the answer?
Here's a quote from KRC's website:

He doesn't mean if your one tooth off, the computer will adjust for it, does
he? Or does he mean even though you can sync the signals, it's still
possible you're one tooth off (but needs to be corrected).
