Hey Bill, Just curious if you were using 100% redline MTL in your
transmission? My Dak didn't like it in the 95+ temps and some of it
came out the tranny vent. I overfilled it just slightly above the fill
plugs lower threads and I'm still reserving comment on my trannys
condition until further testing can be done. I can say I've been
testing Royal Purple 75w90 and 10w40 mixed 50/50 and they have
no sulphur content. So far it seems to be working (less leaking from
the tranny vent) and the tranny shifts are VERY SMOOTH.

A nice combo may turn out to be Redline MTL and a mix of RP 75w90
or slightly thinner. As you can see, I'm still experimenting. ;)

Go for Red Line MTL for the tranny. It'll shift smoother and also be a
little quiter. This won't happen immediately, give it about 1000 miles after
the change and you'll notice the difference. DO NOT use any other manual
tranny lube other than MOPAR or REDLINE. The free sulphur in the others will
screw up your synchronizers and you won't be able to shift it at all.
