I have a snugtop, similar to the A.R.E. The snugtop was already on my
truck, but I like both of those hard covers.

I would add, check out the A.R.E. version. I have seen it and was
amazed at
the quality and the design.

I still have to say that the roll-n-lock is better. They have a piece
that is screwed into the tailgate (some may some not) and doesn't really
stick up that far (about 1/4"). Because of this there is no bouncing
like the pace Edwards does. Plus the cover itself is a much better
design. BTW, I have seen the one for the ram and it is still plastic.
You might have seen a roll-n-lock. They look a lot alike but the
roll-n-lock is better. You can tell by the canister having a downward 45
degree angle on the front so it gives a little more room.

be advised that every model is totally different. the full ram has
clamp on
rails and a much better top. they also have the metal canister (that
the
top rolls into). The Dakota has a cheap version. the canister is
plastic
and the rails screw into the sides. I was not impressed. the other
huge
problem with them is that the cover over the canister (up by the cab)
rubs
the paint and will ultimately start to rust...

As soon as I can afford it I'm getting something else...
