Bernd - If you have tried the SSBC rear disc conversion and got it to work, then
my hat is off to you. I did it and then immediately took it off because of
fitment problems, engineering problems and a crappy kit. Brakes were real
spongy too!
The Viper brakes do make a huge difference! Cut down my 60-0 mph distance by 32
feet. If you add to that the StopTech Viper brake upgrade, it will cut another
5 to 8 feet off consistently. If someone really wants to do it up right, then
these brakes are the way to go. On Gary's complete set up, remember he uses it
as a daily driver and autocross/road race, not drag race. That is a completely
different set up. The Viper 6 speed is a huge amount of work to get it to fit
and work right. Gary is right, both mods are not for the faint of heart.

I am just glad my Dak (DACUDA) is gone. The Ram is done and much fun to drive.
In the garage is the latest addition to the family, 1969 Chevelle 2 door coupe.
Complete resto build up into a race beast. I had never done a Chevy 350 engine
before. This is wonderful! You can get parts easy and cheaply! We are doing a
mild build up on the engine, but should be around 450 hp. That is a wet dream
in a Dak! What a difference in parts availability and fitment. Mainly - you
can get them!
