Hi Josh
     Looking at my factory svs manual for the 2k Dakota, the Cargo Light as
part of the high center stop light assembly are fed from the headlight switch
with a 20 gauge wire that's pink w/dark blu stripe. The circuit which might
not do you any good at this stage is M3. The cargo light(s) are not shown as
having a ground so the receptacle must be metal and its fastener to the roof
makes its ground. Coming from the battery thru Fuse #12 (15amp) is a solid
pink wire, 18 gauge, circuit #M1 which feeds current to the receptacle and
the headlite switch of course controls the flow
