Sorry to loose good DML members. As for me, I had such bad luck with my
last Ford and GMC Syclone I think I will stick with Mopar for better or
worse (because I've already had worse). Gm did this kind of promotion when
they discontinued the big MonteCarlo in the late 70s. None of those are
worth anything today and I am sure there will be another line of cars with
that name badge come out in the next few years and they will probably become
popular too. I am sure, however, that you will find the Pontiac fun, my son
had 3 of those models, a 91, a 95 and a 98, all 6 speed. Now he had a 2000
Corvette coupe (non hatchback model) 6 speed that sits in the garage all the
time and he drives my 2001 Grand Cherokee that I loaned him (probably
permanently) because the Corvette is not practical for someone who spends 8
hours a day in his car inspecting damaged property all over north Texas.
