Good luck on your trip, hopefully, you won't need it.

Oh yeah, bring a cell phone. It's much easier than trying to find a phone
while you're on the road...

Well it started acting up befor eI went to the BBQ this summer. I admit
- running it through The Pit probably did not help matters. However the
work out this engine has had since the rebuild - is no where near what I
would call abusive. I have changed the oil twice since I got it and its
almost due for a change now. It does see 3000 RPM frequently and every
now and then 4000 RPM if I am passing on the highway or doing a little
rice burning hee hee.

I talked to my mechanic and told him whats wrong. I told him I knew it
wasnt his fault - he didn't rebuild the engine - but its not running
right and that I have had several people tlel me the timing chain is
suspect. HE said bring it in nd we'll take it to the shop that did the
rebuild. The engine is still under a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty.

No one has said anything about the residue in the air filter housing
though? What does that mean?

I am taking it on the road this weekend. Say a prayer for me please LOL!
Its an 800 mile round trip.
