Hey Gabe,
You were right on the money, I found the vacuum hose between the TB and the
smogbox was split on the underside near the coupling with the smogbox. I
cut off the split end and still had enough slack to slide it back onto the
fitting.
Quick fixes are the best, especially when they don't costr a penny!
