Not quite. They would have strung the wiring necessary through the A pillar
before putting on the plastic piece where the handle is. It's the same kind
of thing with rear end gears. The 3.92 gears were a $40 option over the
3.55s. Try and get the stealers price to do it after the fact.

A lot of it boils down to it's easier to do a lot of that type of stuff when
the truck is being built rather than taking things apart and putting them
back together...

So, if I were to have wanted this option when I bought the truck, they would
have had to re-wire my truck??? That dosen't sound right (even though it
may be true..)

Hi Barry/Adam
I checked into this question of adding the full overhead about a year
ago and the answer was not pleasant so far as cost is concerned. Your best
bet by far would be to remove one from a wreck in a junk yard.
There is no accessory package from MoPar for this item so every part
must be ordered separately. This list becomes rather long and the price
high.
There is no wiring to the cab ceiling to supply the unit, only the
partial overhead wiring is there if that's what your truck came with so you
have one harness to buy for the ceiling and another for the sensors.
It's also quite a task to accomplish getting the cable up to the cab
ceiling, adding the supports for the unit, etc. Getting one off a wreck
also
gives you first-hand familiarity with how to reinstall.
