If you a little time before you need to fix it, look in to a Fumoto Drain
Valve. Find one with treads the size you can tap the old hole too. With a
valve like this you don't need to mess around with the plug any more. Also
makes a faster, easyer and mostly a CLEANER oil change!! Here a photo of
