It maybe something near the exhaust system that is touching - sway bar?
Another area to check is the CAT shield for broken weld spots.

Yeah I have a rattle on my 98, but i'm not sure if its the cat or not. It
could be the exhaust since it started when I removed my muffler. Only
rattles at idle tho.
