On gen3 trucks it's integrated into the headlight switch...which I have already had replaced twice...so I don't really want to add more to that circuit...

Hmmm, good question - I'm not sure. Do you have a fog light switch?
If so, I'd check in that general vicinity, to see if there is a provision
for another switch. On the GenII trucks, its on the kick panel.
