I want to thank everyone that replied to me on the air intake question I
had about water entering the filter. It seems that no one has experienced
any problems over a period of several years, so I guess I was worrying about
nothing. Maybe it is a combination of the downward angle of the pipe, the
superior filtration of the K&N filter, and that not enough water really
enters the engine compartment to hurt anything, unless you submerse the
front end in water, in which case you have several problems to worry
about!!!!! And if you do get a little water, then you just made your own
water injection system to control that nasty ping everyone talks about!!!
The only problem would be that it would have to rain all the time! Oh well,
it's always something!!!!!
