When I placed the bid, there was ~20 hours left. Now there is about 9 hours
left. I can't retract it at this point. He could of last night, but didn't
get my message until this morning.

Ebay says you cannot retract ANY bid within 12 hours of close.

I know what I did... and I've talked with the seller. If he can get
someone to buy it for $75, he will ignore my bid and give it to the other
seller.

If more than one person wants to buy it, the bidding would between them two
and I would be left out of it.
