Last week, I had an elderly asian couple break down on the freeway in the
fast lane in their 2000 Volvo S70, so being on duty at the time (I drive a
tow truck for the local transit authority and help people for free), I shot
over there to get them out of there. As I was getting the couple into my tow
truck, some a-hole in a Nissan p/u decided that he didn't like the fact I
was
there, so as I was hooking up the Volvo, he decides to come over into the
car
pool lane (solo driver) and lay on his horn, which got my attention, then he
starts to come over right at me, I looked right in his eyes, he saw me, so I
took action, I put my size 11 EEE Chipewa steel toed boot right into his
pass
door with all my might, and pretty much beer canned his door. He pulled to
the side and tried to play dumb and tell me that he was gonna make me pay.
Oh
really?? I called CHP and the officer came out got mine and the couple's
statements, then walked to the other guy and basiclly asked "wtf were you
thinking" which he said "I was just driving along........(playing stupid)"
story and the officer told him that I could file attempted assault with
deadly weapon charges. The guy quickly changed his tune, then the officer
told him that he was gonna cite him for crossing the double yellow and being
solo in the car pool lane, which will cost him about $500 the officer told
me. The officer told me to tell him if I hear from this guy to call him
right
away. Justice served!! And I gotta deal with people like this every day :(
