"Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government.
It can only exist until voters discover they can vote themselves
largess (generous gifts) from the public treasury. From that moment
on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most
benefits from the public treasury, with the result that a democracy
always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a
dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations
has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this
sequence: from spiritual faith to great courage; from courage to
liberty; from liberty to abundance; from abundance to complacency;
from complacency to apathy; from apathy to dependence; from
dependence back again to bondage.

Yea, (2) Dakota's did , 99' model cranked out a max of 312hp & 332tq with a
Magnum Crate motor installed............the second Dakota was a '00 R/T
that cranked out 209hp & 290tq..............
and for for the deisel Ram owners 1 guy showed up with a '01 Ram Sport with
a 5.9 Cummins and cranked an a amazing 763 hp and a whopping 1,470
TQ!!!!!!!!!This was enough to reportedly MAX out the dyno.
I'll go again next year myself, and have the Dak ready for it!!!!
I was at the event as well in July, but made my run at the dyno early in the
morning on SAT before any of the magazine staff showed up...........fact is
I made more power than the R/T on my run , but he made more torque.........I
also made more HP & TQ than a small block Challenger that competed.
my Dak cranked a 211HP & 275TQ AND it was running very lean, if I'd had the
new injectors in, I probably would have made at least another 10-15hp
But I was having trouble getting a set.
If I'd waited till later on who know's what would have happened!!
Maybe it would have had it's photo taken......LOL
