Nuts! I didn't know anyone made a roller cam for the 440! I just
put a Hughes 3038 flat tappet hydraulic in my cuda. After a web
search, I see that Crane makes hydraulic roller lifters that are
supposed to install without any machining (needs "special" push rods
though they say) ? But, I didn't find any roller cams. Are the Crane
rollers supposed to be used with a standard hydraulic/solid flat tappet
cam merely for frictional reduction, or does anyone make a cam with
nice steep profiles designed for a roller?

  Thanks!
