The Flex-a-lite BM 150 moves 2800 CFM, but isn't enough for the 5.2 or 5.9L
engines in stop and go traffic in the summer. If you want a serious electric
fan, look at the fan out of the Lincoln Mk VIII. It moves 4000 CFM, draws
110 amps at start up, and will blow the Hayden fan control modules. Nominal
load is 30 amps.
John - saving up for another go at an electric fan

Compared to the Flex-a-lite dual fans, there's no comparison!
This single fan must pull 2800-3000 CFM. Its a 15" fan and
with the shroud its 17x18.5x 4.25. The motor by itself is about
3 inches thick. The only thing I have against it so far is.......
<choke> its gm, <hack, cough>. If this doesn't cut it in the
summer, next in line might be a Viper fan.
