I think you are dead on correct. The BM fan doesn't cover enough of the radiator. Now that
Lincoln Mark VIII fan I mentioned in my other post, it's an 18" fan instead of 15" like
the BM. I've heard that this fan will keep a hopped up R/T cool even in a Texas summer. As
soon as a pull together the cash, I'm going to give it a try.

John, I think part of our problem was the area the BM covers. We're
moving air over at best 60% of the radiator with the BM, which just
isn't enough. I think 2800 CFM could be enough air, moving across the
radiator, *provided* that it covered 80% or more of the radiator's area.
But yeah, bigger is still better if your electrical system can handle
the load.
