You can get into PT4WD(FT4WD) from a dead stop...Like starting up in
your driveway and you need it right away..Shift into what you want and
go rev.-to- drive once or twice..It'll mesh the gears in the transfer
case and you're good to go..Procedure is in my '99 owner's manual.
