The last year of ordering the Gen III is going in 2004 model year. There is
no Gen IV for 2004. It will happen after the Durango hits the show room
floor, along with the 300 N, new Ram update and the expect 6.1 Hemi motor.

I've always ordered my Mopars, usually in Feb or March to take advantage of
any mid-year fixes or new options, but I remember being told April was the
latest you could do it. Delivery time has varied between 2 weeks and 5
weeks. If you find an honest dealer you can get most anything between
invoice and $100 over invoice. Edmunds.com is a great source for pricing
info and has always proven to be more accurate than the dealer's
information. If you get them to agree to invoice or a dollar amount over,
leave it at that and wait for the vehicle to arrive with the exact invoice
price. The dealer's information has always been higher than the actual
invoice, in my experience.
