Stick a 9.8Kohm resistor on the sensor connector and be done with it.
I've had one on my truck for over a year now...no problems with the
charging system (runs at 13.8-14.2v).

of the massive stereo in this truck. The amps are US Amps 1000x for the

and a US Amps 400x for the mids and highs. Even with a pair of red top
Optimas and two 2.0 farad caps the lights still dim at night and voltage
drops pretty good when the bass hits hard. We are going to turn a
smaller
alternator pulley on a metal lathe so we can spin the alternator faster
at
idle. Any other ideas?
