My two cents:
First off you may not like this one... the Red top batteries - while
they typically have higher amp ratings than yellow top... red top will
wear out faster (the optimas red top yes) - will wear out faster
because the red top battery is really designed for starting, not high
drain/charge use. You might want to look into Optima Yellow Top
batteries. They are deep cycle batts that can withstand frequent
charge/discharge/charge cycles - hence the term Deep Cycle. I use a Red
top for my truck and for snow plowing - only after I bought the battery
did I discover that I should have bought a yellow top deep cycle. (snow
plow hydro pumps pull crazy high power)
Also - bigger alternator... range of 140-160 amps... unfortunatly I do
not know where you can get such an alt..
