Fake. :-) From what I hear, they basically put some sort of jack
under it to do that. The shot is conveniently from the rear. :-)

I dunno - I think I read somewhere it was a dummy engine. Actually,
I think there were several different cars that were used. A Google
search will probably turn up something - back when the movie first came
out there was a good deal of discussion about it on the various mailing
lists and web boards.
(PS: It was a Charger, not a Cuda)
