   That's a good point. Yes, doing that, I would be able to accept
photos as small as 550x425, but they still would have to be at 200dpi.
The only problem with that is by submitting a photo close to that size
is the person would be restricting them to a 1/4 page shot. (What I did
for the MML calendar was the top 9 pics (as determined by the voting) got
"full page spreads", and the number 10 through 21 pics got the quarter
size shots). So, assuming for a moment that we did 6 months of full
page and 6 months of quarter page, and that the #6 picture was
submitted in 1/4 size, it would essentially get bumped down to
#7, with #7 going up to #6 and getting a full page. (Unless of
course #7 was a 1/4 size pic, in which case I would have to just
keep going down until I got to a full size pic, which would move up
to #6.

  (Actually, your 2048x1536 would probably be good enough to rate a
full size pic, considering that its not *too* far off, its not an
exact science in that regard.) :-)
