It sorta depend on what coller you're running. If you have one with built in
electric fans you can mount it damn near anywhere as long as it is pulling
cool air and not hot engine compartment air (although this would still cool
the oil just not as efficiently) If you run a cooler without a fan you'll
want to mount it wher it is getting airflow from the engine fan which pretty
much limits you to in fromt of the other stuff (radiator, condenser, tranny
cooler). You could mount it in an open airflow area but it would only be
efficient when the truck is moving.
