Mike...have you ever own a super car and drive it hard? Everyone that into
performance machine do not allow the oil to break down - period. Even
synthetic can have cook off effects under WOT. Though, the wear and tear is
less than dino oil.

yea you guys with the every 1500 miles seem pretty anal. i could see when
the truck is new, but come on. that is pretty often... unless you don't
drive the vehicle much. if it's 1500 miles, but every 6 monthes, then i
could see it... i go 3k-4k miles and have no problems at 123k miles... i
had a friend that had an 88 accord with 260k miles, changed it every 4-5k
miles with whatever oil was on sale. the car got totalled in an accident,
but it never burned or leaked oil. no problems what so ever...
