Hi Jason
You have to be careful about putting anything into the nozzle head as
the hole is very small, on purpose, so that the pump must work hard to spray
the material well out onto the glass. If the hole gets enlarged ever so
little that pressure is reduced and the spray becomes sort of a piddle.
First thing I would do is disconnect the supply hose at the washer pump
and blow with your mouth and lung power to hopefully force out whatever is
clogging it. If that doesn't work, then disconnect the supply hose also from
the nozzle and if the problem is within the hose you can quickly dislodge
whatever it is. If not, then it's either the nozzle or perhaps the pump is
weak. The nozzles can be removed and clean with as much pressure as is
needed. Once you know the nozzles and supply hose are free and you still
have poor performance, then the pump may have to be replaced. When nozzles
are located on the hood it is easy to clog them with dried wax or polish.
